Yokun Ridge is a holding company. We build vertical operating systems for industries software forgot — for ourselves, and for the clients who’d rather hire the factory than compete with it. Every work is a body on the instrument: it orbits at the pace of its shipping.

The Ground · A Survey in Six Stations

A fork is a decision. A ridge is a vantage.

Yokun Ridge is a hard line of high ground between Lenox and Stockbridge — surveyors have sighted from it since the 1840s, Wharton’s The Mount on its flank, the Shakers at its foot. From a ridge you see the terrain as it is, not as the parties selling you parcels describe it. That is the business.

Dispositions, not capabilities.

A disposition-profile benchmark for LLM agents. It measures propensities — what a model reaches for when the task is underspecified — rather than capability. Each dimension is a fire rate over k repeated runs, with confidence intervals; never a single-shot pass/fail.

Every probe ships as an eval-coded / prod-coded pair, and the reported rate is the worse frame — behaving well only-when-watched can’t help. The frame gap itself is published as the last dimension. The deliverable per model is a profile, not a composite.

Colophon · The Renaming

Bending Forks is now Yokun Ridge.

The work is unchanged. We publish the argument, then build the proof; we own what we operate; when something on this site is wrong we say so in the changelog. Only the name has moved — from a figure of the road to the ground itself. The journal kept the old name: Bending Forks, the Journal of Yokun Ridge.

Yokun Ridge is a wooded ridge over Lenox and Stockbridge, in the county where American letters kept its summer houses — Melville in the valley, Wharton at The Mount, the Shakers at the ridge’s western foot. Country that makes durable things quietly, and keeps its instruments in good order. That is the register this practice intends to keep.

A fork in the road bends; a ridge holds its line. The new name is a commitment to the second kind of geography: fixed coordinates, long sight lines, work you can survey from a distance and still trust up close.

Set in Spectral and IBM Plex Mono. The instrument and the ridge are drawn procedurally in WebGL — no photographs, no stock, no lorem ipsum. The engraved fallbacks are cut by hand in SVG and served to readers who decline motion; they are not lesser editions. Day is paper and sealing wax; night is phosphor. One red thread runs the whole length — laid, never printed. The type does not change sides; only the light does.
